First Images from the Rogue Isles

As promised, my underground contact in the Rogue Isles has been able to capture some images of Technoslash and his associates. The image below shows (from left to right) TechnoSlash, PhyreStarter and Xyzor.

It would appear that TechnoSlash has put his sister through some kind of torture or experimentation. Her face is heavily scarred and her face permanently displays a chilling look. From onlookers that have seen her in action, her fire powers have some been amped up. Xyzor is a mystery to us. There are no records of who or what she is. It seems that she can create fearsome Warbots out of the very air around her, using some form of Nano tech. I have been reliablely informed that Xyzor is the person who created TechnoSlash's new right arm. We have heard that Slash has started the beginnings of a new P.P.S. This time though it is called the PUNISH PARAGON SQUAD.

In response to these new threats, Hero Corps. has set-up various taskforces to pursue and caputure assigned Villain groups. Yesterday, the Corps released the names and images of those assigned to capture TechnoSlash and his associates.

You maybe surprised to see Techno-Slash in that line up. Well, it appears that Crey tech have perfected their theorised cloning system. Yes, This Slash is a clone created from the DNA stored in the Hero Corps records dept. Joining him are Longbow Doe, this agent of Longbow will act as a liason for the team. He is one of the few Longbow operatives to actually have powers. Although, Doe has no memory of his life up until 18 months ago, when he was found washed up on the coast of Talos. Some doctors have even speculated that he may not even be from this planet, but no postive proof has been produced.

Finally, the last member of the team is Cat O' Claws. Cat has come back to Heroing business after a extended break. She took this break to deal with issues arising from her resurection from the dead. Cat is back and will be taking more of a leadership role in the taskforce.

It looks like the stage is set for battles not seen since the Rikti invasion. Keep reading, I am sure there will be more news to follow.

The Truth Revealed

In the previous post, I revealed that Techno-Slash was in fact working for ARACHNOS. Since that post many things have come to light. Lord Recluse and ARACHNOS have launched a full scale attack on the Heroes of Paragon. From their haven in the Rogue Isles, the training of thousands of Super-Villains has accelerated. Included in those numbers are quite a few of the fallen and disgraced Heroes from Paragon's darker days. Techno-Slash is amongst them and is rumored to be heading up a new team, but not to save Paragon...

Also, information has been released this week from the Freedom Corps and Government Office relating to what happened to Techno-Slash. As we all know, Techno-Slash went missing six months ago during a raid on a Council base. The members of the now disbanded Paragon Punishment Squad, believed him to of been killed in a massive explosion that destroyed the entire base. We now know that Techno-Slash was severly injured in the blast, which allowed him to be captured. What followed was weeks of torture and interrogation. We know that after being electrocuted for 38 hours straight, Techno-Slash signed a confession of his crimes against the Council.

The Council then shipped him off to their Sci-Tech division, into the hands of Dr. Silas Screch. Dr. Screch was the Scientist in the middle of the Human cloning controversy about 4 years ago. The Paragon Scientific Governing Body, banned Screch from performing any such experiments and stripped him of any funding. Dr. Screch had been working for the Council ever since, trying to help turn them into a army of Super-Soldiers. The goal with Techno-Slash was simple, extract a clonable string of the Super-Gene, speculated to enhance most Heroes. The experiments cost Slash his right arm and the medication left him permantly brain damaged. For two months, Dr Screch tried to perfect his extraction procedure. All failed, much to his annoyance and disgust. If Screch had only bothered to check Techno-Slash's background. Slash was not a pure-born hero, but was altered with Nanites in a Lab accident gone wrong. Screch was never going to succeed with Techno.

After two months of agony and confusion at the hands of the sadistic Dr. Screch, Techno-Slash finally found what he had been looking for... a way out. He broke free from his cell and started down a path he could never returned from. Instead of escaping though, Techno-Slash murdered every lab tech, security guard and doctor in the installation. According to intercepted Council transmissions, Dr Screch was not as lucky as the dead left in Slash's wake. He was found in one of the "Operating Rooms", where Slash had used the same tools used on him, to reduce Screch to a barely alive head and chest. The rest of his body was never found... Screch is in a asylum now.

Last month, TechnoSlash returned to the city. A slightly different name, a slightly different Hero. During this time TechnoSlash has carried on his vengence. Every Council member that has been killed by him, is somehow connected to his capture and torture. I have also learned that the ex-hero, PhyreStarter has been kidnapped by TechnoSlash. I can reveal that Phyre is actually his sister. What the purpose of this Kidnapping is has yet to be seen.

Rumours from Hero Corps is that a task force is being assembled to eliminate TechnoSlash. More on that in the near future though.

Stay Vigilant, Paragon
