How to take a good photo
Take one drunk mate. Ask him to take photo and Voila! He manages to blur everything but us, in very arty way
Massive Attack
Best lightshow EVER!
Oh... The music was good too.
V Festival 2004 Summary
It ROCKED!
V Festival Chelmsford - DAY 1
The Crew - Saturdays crew (from left) Jo,Kev, Aaron and Mark. Crossy had dissapeared but he was there.
FAITHLESS
Got the crowd jumping early in the day
Crossy did come back... although rather damaged. Apparently, Charlatans + Crossy = Crowd Surfing injuries
DIDO
I was the only person to stick around for Dido (or Dodo). I thought she was great and chilled me right out.
MUSE
ROCK!! So they did and all around rejoiced.
Kev and Mark were in awe of Muse (We think?)
Beer Cup Tower /Arch
During the day we had collected a stack of cups that we held as a tower. This is the final count of around 650!! The guy inbetween Jo and Paul is a mystery man (I call him Merv).
M. Night Shaylaman's SCOOBY DOO
I had the misfortune this weekend to see The Village. I do not what to say too much in case I ruin the story for people who want to see this film. The plot is straight out of Scooby Doo and I had figured out his trademark "Twist" 10 minutes into the film. What you get before the twist is 90 mins of boredom in the dullest village in history.
My Advice: Go see Catwoman.... At least that has Halle Berry!
I have been a avid video gamer for the majority of my adult life. It started after I left school and was actually earning money to fund this pastime. Over the years, you experience moments in yor gaming life that will stay with you forever. For example: The first time you played Pac-Man, your first encounter with a little blue hedgehog that could run really fast and of course, the first time you saw DOOM.
Doom... The serial killers practice tool (according to members of the press). The fear you felt as walked slowly down a corridor, the blue key lies just in front of you. You go to grab it, the lights go out and you are attack from every direction. Fear had never been so much fun.
But now I am scared to be near my PC. writing this is really hard. Doom 3 sits on my desktop, laughing and mocking me. The new version of the classic has a new realistic game engine to bring up to the 21st century. Only one problem... it's too scary!! Not in a fun way like the original, but more in a seeking therapy way. So, if you see people walking the streets near you jibbering about cacodemons and head crabs, whilst shaking violently. Dont worry they're just PC Gamers.
Film of the moment: Not M Night Shaylamans The Village!
Game of the moment: Doom 3
Album of the moment: Pixies - Doolittle
Dakka Dakka Dakka
A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky to get some time off to go to the 6th Lowestoft Air Festival. I took Mr Cross with me and we had a great few days. The weather was unbelievable, more like the Med than East Anglia. Higlight of the 2 day event was being able to see the guys in the photo... The Red Arrows. Absolutely awesome!!
TECHIE NIRVANA
A slice of Heaven... My domain, where I spend most of my time surfing, gaming and watching films on my new TV
Sorry.. must of nodded off
Right, OK!! I haven't been great at posting on my blog. Thing is... turns out not that much happens every day that i would write about.
So whats happened since my last entry.... I went to work ALOT! Learnt a new level of fear and saw one of the worst films of the year. Mostly I have been facing the heatwave bombarding England. Although I am very glad that I do not have a permanant fur coat like Max. Poor little bugger has suffered the last 2 weeks.
I have some picture post i want to make, i will do them and then get back to the worst film of this year (and its not catwoman)
